This past week on November 21st and 22nd our school –SGPO went on an educational field trip to our capital and also Vienna, which is the capital of Austria. On the morning of November 21st ,we set off on our journey. The long drive there was my favourite part because we were shown so many interesting things. As soon as we arrived in Bratislava we headed straight to the ‘’Human Body Exhibition’’. I found this to be a very educational and beautiful experience as all the models were brilliantly decorated with what lies inside of us. I really enjoyed this exhibition because I gained a new perspective of the human body that I would not have obtained otherwise. After the exhibition our next stop was a shopping centre called ‘’Aupark’’and I also enjoyed this because it reminded me of America. Later on in the evening we took a stroll around the streets of Bratislava and it was spectacular because the city was all lit up and absolutely beautiful. The second day of our trip consisted of travelling to a beautiful country known as Austria. We headed straight to Vienna its capital, which I totally fell in love with as it is an amazing city. While we were there we visited Schonbrunn Palace and took a tour. It was so incredible and very educational. We learned all about the great people that walked the halls of the palace and that really impressed me. I really loved it there. After that we were taken to the city centre where we were shown a lot of historical monuments. I have to admit I was really excited when I found a Starbucks Coffee Shop. I have not been in a Starbucks for five months. So, I am sure you could imagine how happy I was at that time. After that we headed home and I would like to say that all in all it was a great trip and I loved it. Radka Jurcik, 1.EA
